Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to anyone using Thirteen Degrees' Services, including clients, creators, employees of clients, agency partners and academy members. Violations may result in immediate suspension and termination without refund and may be reported to law enforcement, regulators and affected Platforms.

1. Prohibited content

• Child sexual abuse material or any sexual content involving minors.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery, including deepfakes or face-swaps of real individuals.
• Content that incites violence, hatred, terrorism or discrimination on protected grounds.
• Defamatory, harassing, doxxing or threatening content.
• Content infringing third-party IP, trademarks, trade dress, publicity or moral rights.
• Content that materially misleads consumers, including undisclosed paid endorsement, fake reviews, fabricated testimonials or fake scarcity.
• Content promoting fraud, scams, illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, gambling without licence, or sanctioned activity.
• Misinformation about elections, public health, or that is designed to manipulate civic processes.

2. Synthetic media, AI personas & AI outputs

• AI UGC personas may not impersonate real, identifiable individuals (including public figures, employees of a brand, creators or competitors) without written consent.
• Synthetic voice, face or likeness clones of real individuals require signed, specific and revocable rights consent from the individual.
• AI-generated content must be clearly disclosed where required by the Advertising Regulatory Board (ARB) Code, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA, UK), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC, US), the EU AI Act, the Digital Services Act, the relevant Platform's AI labeling rules or any other applicable law.
• AI outputs are probabilistic and may be inaccurate or fabricated. You must review, fact-check and clear all outputs before publication. You are responsible for the final published work.
• Do not use the Services to generate content designed to deceive a person into believing they are interacting with a specific real human when they are not.

3. Platform compliance

You agree to comply at all times with the policies of any Platform we publish on, ingest data from or integrate with - including Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), TikTok, Google (including YouTube and Google Ads), Snap, Pinterest, X, Shopify, Stripe and any AI model provider. This includes their advertising policies, community standards, developer terms, branded-content / paid-partnership disclosure rules, restricted-goods rules, data-use restrictions, AI labeling rules, prohibited-data lists (e.g. sensitive-category audiences) and any geographic restrictions.

4. Data & audience data

• Do not upload to the Services, or instruct us to activate on any Platform, personal information that you do not have a lawful basis to process, including consent and notice where required.
• Do not upload special-category / sensitive personal information (health, religion, sexual orientation, precise location of children, etc.) for ad targeting or audience matching.
• Honour all opt-outs, deletion requests and "Do Not Sell or Share" / GPC signals received from data subjects.
• Do not scrape, crawl or harvest data from Platforms or third-party sites in violation of their terms.

5. Security

• Do not attempt to bypass authentication, rate limits, content filters or model safety systems.
• Do not probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems without prior written authorisation.
• Do not introduce malware, run denial-of-service activity, or interfere with other users.
• Report security issues to security@13-degrees.com.

6. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove offending content, revoke access tokens, suspend accounts, terminate engagements, cooperate with law enforcement and notify affected Platforms and regulators. Serious violations will result in termination without refund of pre-paid fees. You will indemnify us for any loss, fine, take-down or third-party claim arising from your breach of this AUP.
